Pyramid Solitaire — How to play
Pyramid Solitaire removes available cards in pairs totaling 13. A King is worth 13 and can be removed alone; Queen pairs with Ace, and Jack pairs with 2.
Select only uncovered pyramid cards or the current top waste card. Pair two exposed pyramid cards, or pair an exposed pyramid card with the waste card. Turn over stock cards when you need another candidate.
Clear all 28 pyramid cards to win. When the stock runs out, click it to return the waste cards and keep drawing. This embed allows unlimited stock cycles, with the card order preserved.
Pyramid Solitaire — Rules
The goal is to remove the pyramid by matching two available cards with a combined value of 13. Number cards count at face value; Jack is 11, Queen 12 and King 13.
An exposed King is removed alone. Other pairs include Queen–Ace, Jack–2, 10–3, 9–4, 8–5 and 7–6. Only cards with no pyramid card covering them are exposed.
The top waste card can pair with an exposed pyramid card. When the stock empties, click it to return the waste cards; this version allows unlimited cycles and keeps their order.
Pyramid Solitaire — Tips and strategy
Before choosing a pair, count how many cards it will uncover. A match that exposes new cards may create more options than one that removes only already-free cards.
Scan the whole pyramid before taking an available pair. The same rank may be needed to clear another exposed card later.
The stock can be cycled without a limit in this version. Track the waste order so you know which cards will return, and clear useful pyramid pairs before recycling.
Remove exposed Kings without waiting for a match. For other cards, think in complements that total 13: Queen–Ace, Jack–2, 10–3, 9–4, 8–5 and 7–6.
