TriPeaks Solitaire — How to play

This TriPeaks version deals 28 cards into three overlapping peaks, with a 23-card stock and one face-up waste card. Play an exposed peak card exactly one rank above or below the waste card; suits do not matter.

The rank order wraps at both ends: King connects to Ace, Ace connects to 2, in either direction. If no exposed card matches, draw from the stock. The stock cannot be recycled; clear all 28 peak cards to win.

TriPeaks Solitaire — Rules

Only uncovered peak cards can be played. A playable card is exactly one rank above or below the current waste card; suit does not matter.

When no exposed card matches, turn over a stock card. Clear every card in all three peaks before the stock and available moves run out.

This version wraps the rank sequence King–Ace–2, so King connects to Ace and Ace to 2 in either direction.

The stock is dealt once and cannot be recycled. After the last draw, you may keep playing with the waste top, but you cannot draw more cards.

TriPeaks Solitaire — Tips and strategy

Prefer a move that exposes covered cards or opens another card needed for a run. Think about what each move will reveal next.

Before drawing from the stock, check every exposed card. Another one-rank move may extend your sequence and save stock cards for a later dead end.

When two moves are available, compare the cards they uncover. TriPeaks depends on maintaining a chain of consecutive ranks, not matching suits.

Use the King–Ace–2 wrap to extend a sequence at either end. For example, a King can follow an Ace, and a 2 can follow an Ace.

There is no stock recycle. Preserve useful draws and scan every exposed card before spending one of the 23 stock cards.
